What we collect

When you request a quote, the form asks for your name, company, email, phone number, the delivery address, a billing address if it differs, what the equipment is for, and your timeline. That is the information we collect. The form has no hidden fields beyond a spam trap that real visitors never see or fill.

We also receive basic technical data with any web request. Your IP address is stored only as a salted hash - a one-way fingerprint used to block spam and repeat submissions - never in the clear.

If you use the address suggestions while typing, the partial address you have typed so far is sent to a geocoding service to look up matching addresses. Only those characters go there - never your name or contact information.

To prepare your quote, deliver it to you, and follow up about your request. That is the whole list.

Who sees it

J.P. Rivard does not sell, rent, or trade customer information.

Like nearly every website, we use service providers to operate: website hosting, a database that stores quote requests, and email delivery that gets your request to our sales team. These providers process your information only to provide those services for us and are not permitted to use it for anything else.

How long we keep it, and your choices

Quote requests are kept for as long as we need them to handle your request and maintain ordinary business records. To request a copy of the information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email matt@jprivard.com and we will take care of it.

Cookies and analytics

This site has no user accounts and sets no tracking cookies of its own. Your browser stores one preference locally: your language choice, English or Spanish.

We use the Meta Pixel (ID 2830237457347263) to measure whether our Facebook ads lead to quote requests. It reports standard events to Meta: pages viewed, and whether a quote form was submitted. It does not receive what you typed into the form.

The map on our Location page is embedded from Google Maps; loading it makes a standard request to Google, the same as visiting any page with a Google map.
